Jack Marshall began his motorsport journey in 2015 at the age of eight, starting in karting and immediately developing a passion for competitive racing. From an early stage, karting allowed him to build the core fundamentals that remain essential at every level of motorsport: racecraft, consistency, spatial awareness, discipline, and competitive mindset.

During the pandemic, Jack transitioned heavily into sim racing, where he quickly excelled and further refined his racecraft and technical driving ability. Rather than viewing simulation as entertainment, he used it as a professional development tool — sharpening race awareness, overtaking judgment, defensive driving, consistency, and adaptability under pressure.

In 2024, Jack made the decision to fully pursue professional motorsport. To accelerate his development, he began training alongside drivers from the FIA Formula 3 and FIA Formula 2 Championships on advanced simulators — exposing him to professional standards of preparation, telemetry understanding, technical feedback, and performance analysis.

Training at this level developed:

  • Advanced racecraft and decision-making
  • Braking optimisation and driving precision
  • Technical feedback and setup understanding
  • Telemetry and data comparison analysis
  • Tyre management and race pacing
  • Mental composure under competitive pressure

By 2026, that dedication translated into Jack Marshall's breakthrough into professional motorsport within the F1000 Championship. Racing a Jedi Suzuki F1000 requires an exceptional combination of technical understanding, confidence, commitment, and precision — a car that demands everything from its driver. For Jack, reaching professional formula racing was the result of years of disciplined progression through karting, simulator development, and technical training.

1. Who We Are

Marshall Autosports Ltd is a company registered in Scotland. Our primary contact email is info@marshallautosports.com. We operate the Marshall Autosports simulator venue at Hillington, Glasgow, and the marshallautosports.com website.

For the purposes of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, Marshall Autosports Ltd is the data controller. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

2. What Personal Data We Collect

Through our website forms: full name, email address, phone number (where provided), membership tier preference, marketing consent preference, and any information you include in enquiry fields.

Through our booking system (on opening): booking history, session details, payment reference information. Payment card data is processed by Stripe and is never stored by us.

CCTV (on opening of the venue): footage recorded at the entrance and main simulator room. Retained for up to 30 days then automatically deleted.

3. How We Use Your Data

4. Marketing Emails

We will only send marketing communications if you have explicitly opted in by ticking the consent box on our website forms. You can withdraw consent at any time by clicking 'Unsubscribe' in any marketing email or by emailing us. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. How Long We Keep Your Data

  • Deposit and booking data: 6 years (HMRC requirement)
  • Membership records: 6 years from end of membership
  • Enquiry and waiting list data: 12 months from submission
  • Marketing consent records: until withdrawn, plus 1 year
  • CCTV footage: up to 30 days, then automatically deleted

6. Third-Party Processors

We use Stripe for payment processing (stripe.com/gb/privacy), an email delivery provider, and our booking system. We do not transfer your data outside the UK or EEA without appropriate safeguards.

7. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, object to processing, withdraw marketing consent, and lodge a complaint with the ICO at ico.org.uk. Email info@marshallautosports.com to exercise any of these rights. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Data Security

Our website uses HTTPS. Payment data is handled by Stripe and never stored on our systems. We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data.
